Hi I'm Kang. Welcome to my portfolio. I was born and raised in Taiwan, the land flows with delicious street food and high-tech electronic products. In 2012, I came to New York to study my Master's degree at NYU, Interactive Telecommunications Program. At school, I found my passion for physical computing and network application development. Now I am working as a freelancer on user interfaces and web development.

 

 

 

Some facts about me:

 

I love moveis. One of my favorite director is Nuri Bilge Ceylan from Turkey (My turkish buddy said his name is pronounced: /nuri bilhe jelan/). See his IMDB here. 

 

I am also into zombie movies.

 

I am still using BBS(Bulletin Board System) periodically.

 

I have a google doc which keeps all the eccentric ideas I came up with. From time to time, I will pick one of them and try to make a prototype from it.

 

I love to sektch people on the subway.

 

I speak Mandarin, English, and some Japanese. I can also count one to ten in Thai.

 

I can also count one to ten and know how to say "I Love You" in Mongolian. 

 

I am a certifacted life guard.

 

I play motorized unicycle!

 

Something I am doing recently is to teach myself how to play Ukulele.
